Flat Object Rotator

I modeled my favorite mug for this assignment. I used the spline tool to trace the profile of the mug and then used the lathe tool to rotate it into a full mug. The hardest part was the handle, which I had to model separately and then attach. In order to make the handle, I again traced the profile of it, and then extruded it to made it three dimensional. I then used the iron tool to round out the corners of the handle object. The last step of course was to apply the material with no reflectance and color in order to make it appear flat. I will definitely be using this effect in my updated intro sequence.
